I am primarily interested in nominal structure, e.g.:

Possessives and related constructions
Nominal grounding (e.g., definiteness/specificity)
Crosslinguistic variation in highly schematic ("of") adpositions and genitive cases (especially in Germanic languages)
Relational and reciprocal nominals (especially their derivation, as with "co-", "fellow", and "-mate")
Interaction of number and grounding

My M.A. thesis (U.C. Davis) is titled "English Prenominal Possessors as Grounding Elements". I recently spoke on "Definiteness and English Prenominal Possessives" at the workshop "Where Semantics Meets Pragmatics" for the LSA Summer Institute at Michigan State.
